Thrive AI Engineering

Useful answers. Honest attribution.

Ask something another engineer can reproduce

Include the goal, relevant versions, a minimal example, expected and actual behavior, and what you have already tried. One focused problem per question. Search existing questions first. Do not publish API keys, credentials, private datasets, personal information or employer-confidential code.

Explain the answer, not just the output

State assumptions and limitations. Provide runnable code or a concrete verification step where practical. Link to primary documentation and distinguish a provider claim from your own measured result. Disclose AI assistance and check its output. Unsupported claims of expertise or results are not evidence.

Editorial content is not member activity

Thrive AI Editorial is a platform publishing identity, not a person or synthetic member account. Its starter questions and worked examples are AI-assisted and labeled. We do not create fake member conversations, votes, endorsements or popularity counts. An editorial answer is not automatically an accepted solution.

Moderation and selected solutions

All member questions and answers enter a private review queue. Moderation checks relevance, source quality, privacy, harmful content, promotion and AI disclosure; publication does not certify correctness. No response-time guarantee. The question author or moderator may select or clear a solution. Be respectful and challenge the reasoning, not the person.

Your account and your content

Reading is public and free. Posting requires verified sign-in, not a paid course. Published contributions display your account name; public contributor records list published questions and answers, never email addresses or private submissions. Submit only content you have permission to share. Limits per rolling 24 hours are three questions, ten answers, twenty clarification comments and ten proposed edits, including withdrawn submissions.

Use My submissions to track review status or withdraw your content. Withdrawing a question hides its discussion and revision history from public view too. Private submission and moderation records are retained for abuse prevention. For privacy requests or a concerning post, contact the team with the question URL. See our privacy policy and terms.

Votes are feedback, not certification

Signed-in members can mark a post useful or not useful, change their vote or remove it. One current vote per account per post contributes +1 or -1 to the score. Self-voting is blocked; the owner cannot vote on editorial posts. Votes are counted immediately because they contain no submitted text. Questions, answers, comments and proposed edits all require pre-publication moderation. We do not award automatic reputation, claim voters are experts or seed artificial votes.

Clarifications, corrections and duplicates

Comments request missing details; complete solutions belong in answers. Authors may propose corrections to their published posts, and the moderator may correct editorial content. The existing version stays public until the edit is approved. Approved edits retain public before-and-after history; a correction is not a way to erase sensitive information. Withdraw sensitive content and contact the team instead.

A moderator can link a duplicate to an answered public question. Existing contributions stay visible, but new answers should go to the linked question. Duplicate links can be reviewed and removed; selected solutions still represent a choice, not an independent technical certification.

Freshness without a publishing quota

Research summaries must identify sources and preprint limitations. Model-directory listings are not independent benchmarks. Editorial examples carry a source-check date and an explicit test description. We prefer correcting an existing answer to publishing redundant pages.
